About us
Know About Catholic Centre of Macao
Since its inception, the Catholic Centre of Macao has embraced a clear and humble mission: to serve as a bridge between the Church and the society.
This bridge is not only a transmission of faith, but also a concrete practice of love and service. In the 1960s, when Macao society was still developing, the Catholic Centre provided spaces for education, culture, social interaction, and spiritual activities with an open attitude, allowing people from different backgrounds to find a sense of belonging.
It is both a building and a platform — allowing believers to deepen their faith, non-believers to learn about the spirit of the Gospel, and those in need to receive assistance.

“Come and see!”
The new building is designed around the theme “Encounter between God and Man”. It stands 17 storeys tall with a streamlined façade and a cross at its summit. Inside are a chapel, a multi-purpose auditorium, exhibition halls and spaces for spiritual retreat — preserving the functions of faith formation while opening its doors to the general public.
“Come and see.” The new Centre is built around the idea of an encounter between God and people — open to the faithful, to pilgrims, and to anyone looking for a quiet corner in the middle of the city.

Spaces open to everyone
The Catholic Centre of Macao offers a variety of venues, including exhibition halls, a multi-purpose auditorium, activity rooms and meeting rooms. We welcome groups and individuals from all sectors to rent these spaces for events, gatherings and training sessions. Applications are open to everyone, regardless of religious background.
